Mothers Day

This is what arrived in the post for me last week. It is just wonderful and of course I was pleasantly surprised. It came from my son who is working in Port Hedland in WA. I will be on the lookout for some layer cake pattern ideas now.

Cuppa for cancer

 

 

Yesterday the club had their cuppa for cancer morning tea. It was a great success. We had to wear purple, have purple food and bring a purple decorated bra which created lots of fun for the day. Lucky door prizes were also drawn through out the day, and some bargain buys for books.

The guest speakers spoke about ovarian cancer, which was interesting to listen to.
