New year

Welcome to another year and hopefully a productive one. Plan A is to post regularly as I really enjoy reading and being inspired with other blogs and crafty projects.

These are a couple of my finishes.
This is a Judy Niemeyer paper pieced pattern. It was a good one to start with.
I machine quilted it myself.

This is a disappearing nine patch diagonal set quilt.

I have also been doing some Boro Stitching and made this Journal cover.

A little boys quilt

At last I finished putting this top together, now I just need to quilt it, although I seem to have a couple of other things on the go that I also would like to sew. The pattern is one that I made up as I went along. It was a panel that I had for the centre blocks so I cut out the pictures and then framed them using primary colours.

I have a little one year old grandson and think it will probably go to him for Christmas.

Sewing time

This is something I have had for some time when the Grand kids started to come along, then as time went by it got put aside but now there have been acouple more arrivals I have pulled it back out of the cupboard.

This is another project that I have also started. I have a colection of bali fabrics and whenI saw this pattern I thought it would be good to use some of the bali fabrics.
